Jemma Kidd is world-famous fashion and beauty icon. This English countess was a fashion model before she became a makeup artist with a full-fledged cosmetics line. After working with many major fashion houses and beauty brands, she founded the The Jemma Kidd Make Up School in 2002. Makeup collections called Jemma Kidd Make Up School and Jemma Kidd PRO followed four years later. Most recently, Jemma has collaborated with Target for her JK Jemma Kidd line. So what is someone so fabulously talented as Jemma obsessing over? Let’s find out! ONE. Books — I have a constant stream of parcels being delivered from book websites. I am building a library in house and love choosing books to stock it with. My favourite genre is historical novels and I also love large coffee table books on fashion.
TWO. Underwear — I am obsessed with buying underwear, I opt for comfort and like thin cotton hipster pants – nothing too lacy. I like balconette bras as they give shape, and I like to keep the design simple so my underwear doesn’t show through my clothes. I love Elle Macpherson Intimates.
THREE. Mascara — This is the most vital item in my make-up bag. As I have fair lashes, I use mascara religiously; it frames my lashes and gives definition to my eyes. My favourite is my JK Ultra Plush Volumising Mascara. It gives real volume to my lashes and is smudge-resistant, so perfect for daily wear.
FOUR. Lip balms — I am still on the hunt for the perfect one. I like hydrating balms with a matte feel and not too much petroleum. For me, balms have to be waxy so that they seal moisture into the lips, I also like them to be invisible on the lips. Burt’s Bees balms have a lovely texture.icon
FIVE. C&C California — Their thin cotton tops are a staple of my wardrobe. They have long sleeves which fit my arms perfectly, they feel so soft against the skin and can be worn with almost anything.icon
